About this file

This Statement of Work outlines requirements for high power cables and POFA equipment needed by the Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC). The JNWC requires 58 coaxial cables and 40 connectors to equip their NAVWAR EMI Systems (NEMISys) for high power jamming environments during PNT Operational Field Assessments and Field Test Exercises.

The technical requirements specify cables that can amplify 800-2000 MHz RF signals, with specific capabilities for 1575.42 MHz and 1227.6 MHz signals at 1500 watts minimum. The cables must handle 3300W max and 2000W sustained power, with maximum line loss not exceeding 4.3 dB/100ft. Mechanical specifications include a minimum bend radius of 2.75 inches, weatherproof sealing rated IP 67, and operation in extreme conditions (-55C-200C). The order includes specific quantities of various cable lengths (10', 35', and 75' assemblies) and connector types (7/16 DIN and N-type variants), all requiring heat shrink protection. Delivery location details are provided but redacted in the document.

STATEMENT OF WORK

TITLE: High Power Cables/POFA Equipment

Requiring Activity Name: Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC)

1.0 OVERVIEW

1.1 BACKGROUND

1.2 SCOPE

JNWC has a requirement to transmit high levels of power for certain objectives during POFAs and FTXs. To be able to achieve this objective the JNWC needs cables and connectors that can handle the power that the 1500-watt amplifiers in the NEMISys are producing and effectively transfer it to the antennas. This must be done with the least amount of power loss through the cables as possible to increase efficiency, ultimately resulting in a better test environment. These high-power cables must also be flexible and rugged for the extreme environments the NEMISys are operated in.

1.3 OBJECTIVE

The JNWC’s is looking to acquire 58 coaxial cables and 40 connectors with the requirements listed below, in order to equip our NEMISys for high power jamming environments. Various cable lengths and connector types are required and are also listed in the requirements section below.

2.0 REQUIREMENTS:

• Electrical o Must be able to amplify 800-2000 MHz RF signal.

o Must be able to amplify 1575.42 MHz signal to at least 1500 watts.

o Must be able to amplify 1227.6 MHz signal to at least 1500 watts.

o Must be able to handle 3300W max and 2000W sustained power o Maximum line loss throughout cable cannot exceed 4.3 dB/100ft, not including connectors.

o Connectors must be able to pass the same frequencies at the same power levels.

• Mechanical
