This is a Sources Sought notice from the Air Force 377 MSG/PKB at Kirtland Air Force Base seeking information from potential suppliers of high-power coaxial cables and connectors/adapters. The requirement is for 58 coaxial cables and 40 connectors to equip their NEMISys for high power jamming environments. The cables must be able to amplify 800-2000 MHz RF signals, handle 3300W max and 2000W sustained power, with specific requirements for 1575.42 MHz and 1227.6 MHz signals at 1500 watts minimum. Cable specifications include maximum line loss of 4.3 dB/100ft, minimum bend radius of 2.75 inches, and operation in extreme conditions (-55C to 200C).
The Air Force anticipates conducting a competitive acquisition resulting in a Firm-Fixed-Price contract under NAICS code 33592 (size standard 1,000 employees). Interested businesses must submit capabilities statements limited to 2 pages by February 27, 2025, 12:00 PM Mountain Time to the specified contracting officials. Required quantities include various lengths of 7/16 DIN and N-type assemblies ranging from 10' to 75' cables, along with specific connector configurations. Responses should include company information, business size status, and demonstrate capability to meet the technical requirements. The Air Force may consider a small business set-aside based on responses received.
