About this file

This document is a Statement of Work for a state and local contract opportunity by the Pennsylvania State Police, Bureau of Emergency & Special Operations, to perform scheduled and unscheduled veterinary services on approximately 8 dogs. The contract term is for 3 years, with two 1-year optional renewals, and the vendor must be available for 24-hour emergency care. The vendor will bill the State Police after services are completed and approved, and the contract will be awarded to the bidder with the lowest total cost for the 3-year estimated services. Miscellaneous supplies, medications, and treatments will be billed at the vendor's current rate, and the State Police will only pay for actual services rendered. If service usage exceeds the original purchase order estimate, the contractor must provide the additional units at the original bid/contract unit rates.

The Statement of Work outlines specific requirements, including that the vendor must be located within a 115-mile radius of the State Police-Pittsburgh station or conduct scheduled examinations/vaccinations at the designated location. The bid submission must include unit costs for each requested service, and the contract award will be determined by the total low cost of the 3-year estimated services.
