About this file
This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the monthly inspection, maintenance, calibration, and testing of the Pneumatic Tube System at the North Florida/South Georgia Veteran Medical Center in Gainesville, Florida. The SOW describes the requirements for the contractor to perform these services, including the scope of work, documentation and reporting, qualifications and certifications, and guarantee of services.
The related federal contract opportunity is a Pre-Solicitation notice for a sole source contract for the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Pneumatic Tube System Maintenance services. The contract is for a base year plus four option years. The Pneumatic Tube System is a critical component of the hospital's operations, and the routine inspection and maintenance services are required to ensure it remains functional and fully operational. The proposed NAICS code is 811310 with a $12.5 million size standard. The government is soliciting interest from firms that believe they can meet the requirements, and any responses received will be evaluated, although the decision to compete the proposed procurement will be made solely by the government.
