Testing requirements mandate vendor-provided reports and data per drawing 5974788 paragraphs 4.2.5, 4.2.6, and 4.2.8, with results documented in a Test Inspection Report (CDRL A002). The contractor must provide Certificates of Compliance (CDRL A003) for each manufactured item and submit a Technical Data Package (CDRL A001) and any Engineering Change Proposals (CDRL A004) for deviations due to obsolescence or diminished manufacturing sources. Quality requirements include compliance with FAR 46.202-4 higher-level contract quality requirements, with provisions for monitoring critical processes, continuous improvement, and root cause analysis. All manufactured subassemblies must meet specification drawings, use only approved vendor-manufactured parts, maintain "Like New" appearance, and any workmanship defects or transportation damage must be reworked at no additional cost to the Government. Government inspection and acceptance will occur at destination within a 30-day acceptance period for item-level inspection and verification testing.
