About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details a project to replace mailboxes in seven Airman dormitory buildings at Robins Air Force Base, totaling over 400 resident units. The project involves removing old mailboxes and installing new USPS-approved 4B+ cluster mailbox units across Buildings 756, 758, 759, 780, 781, 795, and 796, with specific configuration requirements including different cluster sizes (10 units of 5x7 tall and 5 units of 4x7 tall for some buildings, and 4 units of 5x5 tall and 2 units of 3x6 tall for others).

The project has a 4-day performance period, with work hours from 0800-1600 Monday through Friday. Each building will receive 3 mailbox clusters with 70 boxes, 2 parcel lockers, and an outgoing mail slot. The contractor must provide 24-hour notification of mail arrival, handle complete installation and assembly, remove packaging materials, and ensure all work meets industry standards. Installation access requires security clearance, with contractor personnel needing 5-day advance notice to obtain base passes. The government point of contact is Shawn Burney, Official Postal Manager, with contact information provided in the document.
