STATEMENT OF WORK
Statement of Work: Maintenance, Repair, and inspection of Two Rivers Youth Center Ropes Course Proposal Number: WIM220008 BAK Date: 11 May 2022
I. Summary Repair, maintenance, and inspection of Two Rivers Ropes Course will be conducted to bring the course into ANSI/ACCT standards for use.
1. Procurement of all items needed to repair and maintain Two Rivers Ropes Course
2. Provide all labor required to inspect, maintain and repair Two Rivers Ropes Course.
3. Perform inspection, maintenance, and repairs to bring the course into proper ANSI/ACCT safety standards.
II. Submittals: N/A
III. Products:
All materials and products provided by the contractor in the performance of this contract shall be in accordance with Manufacturers Specifications.
IV. Quality Control:
The Contractor shall be responsible for all quality control and all inspection and test that are required unless otherwise specified, arrange for factory tests and inspections when they are required.
1. The contractor shall perform all work according to accepted Industry Standards, Safety Procedures and Manufacturers Specifications.
2. The contractor shall schedule work to cause the least amount of interference with station operations.
3. The contractor is responsible for any damage to the work area or adjacent areas due to negligence and will immediately repair at the contractor’s own expense.
4. The Contractor shall perform field tests and provide labor, equipment, and incidentals required for testing. Also, the Contractor shall be able to produce evidence, when required, that each item of work has been constructed properly in accordance with the drawings, specifications, and product manufacturers’ instructions.
5. Work shall be performed by licensed personnel. Note: Required certification/license to be made available when requested. At the conclusion of the project, required certification shall be performed by Licensed Personnel to test and verify for proper operation.
6. If additional repairs or maintenance is needed, a price adjustment will be made to account for the added cost to make repairs.
VI. Execution:
Scope of Work: Repair/ Maintenance of High and Low Ropes Course to bring the course into ANSI/ACCT safety and operating standards.
1. Period of Performance: Repair/ Maintenance of High and Low Ropes Course to be completed within NLT 30 Oct 2022. Work must include the below items:
• Guy Systems o Tighten the loose guy systems o Tighten the loose bolts
• Utility Poles o Fill the holes around the poles
• Climbing/Rappelling Tower o Pressure wash and stain the tower o Secure the loose deck boards
• Catwalk o Replace 2 automatic dead ends
• Giant Swing o Replace 2 suspension clamps
• Dynamo Tower o Pressure wash and stain the tower o Replace 4 automatic dead ends on belays o Replace 1 corroded rapid link on belays
• Cargo Net o Tighten loose bolts
• Giant’s Ladder o Un-tangle the cables o Replace 2 automatic dead ends
• Leap of Faith o Replace 2 corroded wire rope clips
• Wild Woosey o Tighten loose bolts
• Low Elements o Pressure wash and stain the low elements
• Islands o Replace the damaged board
• Mohawk Walk / Triangle Traverse / Wild Woosey o Tighten loose bolts o Tighten loose foot cables
• Whale Watch o Secure loose deck boards
VII. Environmental & Safety:
1. The contractor shall perform all work according to accepted Industry Standards, Safety Procedures and Manufacturers Specifications.
2. Ensure all workers are wearing the proper PPE for the assigned task.
3. The contractor will dispose of all hazardous waste per local, state, and federal regulations.
