About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details a project for the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) at the Champlain Port of Entry to procure and install a failover server for their access control system. The primary objective is to provide a backup directory server that connects to the existing Access Control Server (ACS), ensuring uninterrupted operations in case of a catastrophic system failure. The contractor must install a Streamvault 2040E Series 6-Bay Multi-Purpose Appliance with specific hardware specifications, including a Xeon E-2436 processor, 32GB RAM, 480GB M.2 SSD, Windows Server 2022, and Genetec Security Center pre-installed.
The project requires the contractor to install the server in the cargo lobby's security room, perform comprehensive testing of access control points, validate door security, and ensure system integration with other security systems. Work will be conducted during normal business hours (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday), with potential for after-hours work requiring written approval. The contractor must provide a standard 5-year warranty covering hardware, software, programming, and installation services, and will be responsible for cleaning up the work area daily and removing all installation-related debris.
