Statement of Work

Recruiting Storefront Office Window Promotional Wrap

1.0 Description:

The contractor will supply specified vinyl wrap with government provided graphics and perform required removal and surface preparation and the installation of provided wrap on the exterior windows specified in the scope at 505 Old Steese Hwy Suite 124, Fairbanks, Alaska 99701.

2.0 Scope:

The awarded contractor will provide timely delivery and installation of the requested materials as specified below:

1. The contractor will perform all required surface preparation.

2. The contractor will verify the quantity required to cover the windows listed and provide and install the required quantity of vinyl wrap required to cover listed windows printed with government provided graphics.

3. The graphics files will be furnished by the government in a Photoshop Big (PSB) format, with images designed to work with the required surface area.

1. Material: The Contractor shall comply with the following material requirements:

a. Provide 4,000 sq ft of vinyl wrap material (quantity verified by the contractor).

b. Material installed on windows shall be Clear Focus ImageVue 65/35 Exterior-Mount

Film or equivalent cast vinyl film.

c. Material edges will be sealed with clear tape or equivalent.

d. Vinyl wrap shall have a luster/satin finish with 3M 8519 Overlaminate or equivalent.

e. Vinyl wrap shall be printed in color, at a minimum of 120 DPI.

f. Vinyl wrap shall meet the following specifications:

i. Thickness: 30 gauge or greater

ii. Operating temperature range: -40 ºF to 175 ºF

iii. Resistance to solvents

iv. Vinyl wrap shall be similar to Arlon and/or 3M brand materials.

2. Window area: 32 discrete windows; 16 upper windows, each at approximately 41”x87” and

16 lower windows, each at approximately 41”x26”. Differences in dimensions exist between—and upon—each window at a variance of up to ± 3/8” dependent upon weather/edge sealing. Discrete windows are divided by metal frames 2 ¼” wide.

a. Total window area: Approximately 3,090 square feet, not including 2 ¼” frames.

b. Total Number of Windows: 32

c. Each graphic is divided across 6 zones, 4 or 8 windows each, with an even number of upper and lower windows per section.

d. Sections are divided by support columns and personnel doors, but each section begins at the 2 ¼” frame as specified in paragraph 2.

3.0 Warranty Information: warranty service is requested for material and installation covering the lifetime of the vinyl, cited by the manufacturer as 3 years for the specified perforated PVC vinyl (Clear Focus ImageVue 65/35 Exterior-Mount Film); subject to changes per manufacturer’s advice if an alternate material is used.

4.0 Instructions to the Contractor/Business: Work can be performed throughout the week, apart from the areas adjacent to the main personnel entrance. These areas cannot be congested M-F, 8-5.

5.0 Attachments: Due to disapproval of designs originally submitted to National Guard Bureau (NGB), images for the storefront wrap will be provided once approved. Attached are images of the current storefront windows, displaying the 6 aforementioned sections.
