About this file

The document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for transformer oil analyses at Parker Dam, located in San Bernardino County, California. The Bureau of Reclamation requires a contractor to perform annual laboratory analyses on 13 Generator Step Up Transformer Oil Samples, involving specific testing protocols including oil test with moisture, dissolved gas analysis, power factor, DBPC inhibitor, furanic compounds, and metals testing. The contractor must ship sample containers and syringes to Parker Dam in April, collect samples, analyze them at their facility, and provide a comprehensive report with recommendations for corrective actions, oil suitability, and recommended retesting frequency. The Parker Dam Power Plant has 4 hydrogenators, each equipped with 3 single-phase 6.9kV to 161kV step-up transformers, and the analyses are part of the dam's regulatory compliance requirements.
