Work may be completed at the contractor's facility (not exceeding 25 driving miles from the unit located at 1001 S. Seaside Ave. San Pedro, CA 90731) or at the unit itself. The contractor is liable for any damage to government property and must repair or replace such damage at no cost to the government. Statement of Work

Los Angeles/Long Beach (91103)

Background: USCG Maritime Safety and Security Team Los Angeles/Long Beach (MSST LA/LB) has a 24’ Wells Cargo enclosed box trailer that requires material condition upgrades/improves to become serviceable.

Intent: USCG MSST LA/LB is requesting a material quote to return one of their mission support trailers to a serviceable condition. Though the trailer is currently road-worthy, there is evidence of rainwater intrusion along the ceiling and three of the side walls which also weakened the wood flooring and one of the countertop work benches.

Statement of Work

1. Scope:

1.1. The Contractor shall provide replacement plywood for the ceiling and walls, replacement interior and exterior lights, new door locks for the two entry/exit doors, ceiling membrane, and flooring material. The Contractor shall also include any installation charges on a separate line item. An in-person site visit will be held at the address in section 3.1 on 12FEB26 at 0930; contact the unit POC to confirm your attendance and gain access to base.

2. Government Facilities and Utilities:

2.1. None.

3. Materials and Locations:

3.1. Material will be delivered to the unit or Contractor facility. The work may be completed at the Contractor’s facility, not to exceed 25 driving miles from the unit, or at the unit.

4. Schedule of Work:

4.1. Work will be scheduled upon award of the contract.

5. Existing Conditions:

5.1. Not Applicable.

6. Site Visit:

6.1. A site visit will be required and will be scheduled by contacting the unit’s point of contact.

7. Liability of Contractor:

7.1. Any damage to government property caused by the contractor shall be repaired or replaced by the contractor at no cost to the government.

8. Inspection and Acceptance:

8.1. Unit point of contact, or direct representative, will be onsite to inspect and accept the material.

9. Labor Laws

9.1. Not Applicable.

10. Safety:

10.1. Any contractor driving on Base Los Angeles/Long Beach shall have a government issued driver’s license and abide by all posted signs on base.

11. Unit Point of Contact:

12. Technical Requirements:

12.1. The dimensions of the internal workspace are 24’ L x 8’w x 7’T. The contractor shall inspect and replace those deemed to be unusable.

12.2. The contractor shall furnish and install internal LED lighting fixtures.

12.3. The contractor shall replace both door locks.

12.4. The contractor shall replace the overhead ceiling (24’ L x 8’ W) in accordance with standard practices and ensure the ceiling is watertight.

12.5. The contractor shall replace the rear workbench top.

12.6. The contractor shall install unit provided toolbox to ensure the trailer’s roadworthiness.

12.7. The contractor shall furnish and install vinyl flooring (24’ x 8’W).

12.8. Any installation shall be conducted in accordance with specific material manufacture specifications and/or standard industry practices.
