About this file
This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for heat treating ovens procurement for Andersen Air Force Base on Guam. The document specifies requirements for two specialized heat treatment furnaces: a Dual Chamber Aerospace Heat Treat (DCAHT) furnace with lower and upper convection chambers capable of precise temperature uniformity, and a Single Chamber Aerospace Heat Treat (SCAHT) furnace with a radiant chamber and gas-tight chamber. Additional requirements include a quench tank with agitation system, 220/240v three-phase voltage, enclosed shipping, technician installation, and safety training.
The opportunity is a pre-solicitation sources sought notice issued by the Department of the Air Force Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) under solicitation number FA524025Q0055. The market research notice is voluntary and seeks information from potential vendors about their capabilities to provide the specified heat treating equipment. Vendors are requested to provide manufacturer details, make, part numbers, and estimated delivery terms. The government emphasizes that this notice is for information and planning purposes only, does not constitute a formal request for proposals, and will not reimburse respondents for any costs associated with providing information.
