About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details maintenance and repair services for two Resodyn mixers at Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD). The government intends to sole-source a firm fixed-price contract to Resodyn Acoustic Mixers for servicing a LabRAM IIH and RAM-5 mixer, which have experienced functional issues and lack recent maintenance. Specific requirements include diagnostic work, power and vacuum system repairs, replacement of components like accelerometers and hydraulic hoses, operational checks of multiple systems, and calibration of accelerometers.
The contract has a three-month performance period and will be executed at NSWC IHD facilities in Indian Head, MD. The procurement is being conducted under FAR 13.106(b) as a single-source acquisition, with Resodyn identified as the only vendor capable of meeting requirements. Interested parties may submit alternative capabilities by May 20, 2025, at 8:00 AM EST to Natella Calliste, with responses evaluated to determine potential competitive procurement. The contract's NAICS code is 334513, and the resulting agreement will be a firm fixed-price contract negotiated using non-competitive procedures under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1).

Statement of Work for LabRAM II H and RAM-5 Service
1.0 Introduction
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD) requires maintenance and repair services on Resodyn LabRAM IIH and RAM-5 mixers. The LabRAM IIH and RAM-5 mixers are currently used for energetic mixing, as a quicker and safer alternative to conventional mixing. The LabRAM IIH has had some issues with vacuum function and after attempting to fix, there was no power to the mixer and could not be fixed by NSWC IHD personnel. The contractor will determine what is wrong with the LabRAM IIH. After fixing the issue, preventative maintenance will be performed on the mixer. Additionally, the RAM-5 mixer has not been serviced since 2019 and Resodyn personnel will perform a diagnostic check and perform necessary preventative maintenance. NSWC Indian Head will provide an electrician to assist Resodyn Acoustic Mixers Incorporated.
