About this file
This is a draft Statement of Work (SOW) for the 42 Security Forces Squadron Duress Notifier System at Maxwell Air Force Base (physically Gunter Annex), Alabama. The project requires the Contractor to provide a full turnkey wireless duress notifier system addition in Building 865 that seamlessly integrates with existing Advantor Systems without any alterations or modifications. The system components include one IG2 Panel with fiber modem, one ITK Keypad, one wireless receiver, one hardwire duress button (to be mounted under the desk), and two wireless duress buttons for use throughout Building 865. The system will annunciate at the Base Defense Operations Center (BDOC) to notify Security Forces Squadron personnel of emergency situations. The Contractor must also establish 120VAC electrical connections from a Government-Furnished Equipment (GFE) breaker box to each Infraguard II IDS chassis via GFE-provided junction boxes positioned within 6 feet of each Advantor IG2 Panel, provide all required system cabling, and deliver Design Drawings and an As Built Package in PDF format.
Installation must be performed by an Advantor Certified Installer and comply with NFPA 70 electrical standards, including having a certified electrician complete all electrical work. The Contractor must properly label breakers, protect fire alarm and suppression systems, avoid blocking emergency egress, and obtain hot work permits from the fire prevention office as needed. The warranty requires the Contractor to repair or replace defective Advantor-compatible Systems merchandise at no charge for three years from shipment and provide one-year workmanship warranty on installation and service. All items must be brand new, with refurbished or previously used items prohibited. The delivery location is Building 865 at Dalraida Gate, Maxwell AFB.
