About this file

This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for PR# 6229-ND04, establishing contractor requirements for the repair and inspection of an EGI Computer (National Stock Number 6605-01-HS2-9746, Part Number HG9869AA1-001).

The contractor must be an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), OEM Authorized Repair Center, or FAA Certified 145 Repair Center and must comply with OEM specifications, Component Maintenance Manuals, drawings, Service Bulletins, and Repair Instructions. The contractor shall be ISO 9000 compliant or have a quality system acceptable to the United States Coast Guard. The work scope includes Inspect/Overhaul with defective part replacement and testing to meet manufacturers' functional requirements per applicable OEM publications. The required turnaround time is sixty (60) calendar days after receipt of material (ARM), though earlier delivery is desired if no extra charges apply. The contractor must provide a Teardown and Inspection Report (TIR) within five calendar days of inspection, identifying all parts requiring repair or replacement with part numbers, unit prices, labor hours, rates, and applicable charges. Components must be thoroughly cleaned per applicable Component Maintenance Manuals and Occupational Safety and Health Standards regarding hazardous materials (hexavalent chromium, cadmium, and lead). All parts must be airworthy and suitable for USCG aircraft installation, supported by a Certificate of Conformance per 14 CFR and FAR 43.9, signed by an authorized official. Final inspection and acceptance will be performed by Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) Quality Assurance personnel for quantity, condition, and compliance with contract requirements.
