About this file
This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for manufacturing and delivery of Interface Enclosure Assemblies for the Versatile Diagnostic Automatic Test Station (VDATS) program under the U.S. Air Force.
The contractor shall manufacture and deliver 30 units of VDATS Interface Enclosure Assemblies according to provided engineering drawings and technical data packages. The assemblies are passive passthroughs used to manufacture Interface Test Adapters (ITAs) that support aircraft line replaceable unit and shop replaceable unit testing. The work is a build-to-print effort, meaning the contractor must manufacture each component per supplied engineering specifications; alternate materials or components require written approval from the 556th Software Engineering Squadron (556 SWES) VDATS team and the Procuring Contracting Officer (PCO). The minimum delivery schedule is ten weeks After Receipt of Order with advanced delivery acceptable, and the contractor bears all FOB Destination shipping costs to Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma. All parts must be packaged separately to prevent damage and properly identified per contract instructions. The government furnishes technical drawings and specifications for eleven subassemblies including the main assembly, lid, left/right/front/chassis/top panels, hinge, skid, lid stay bracket, and frame, each with assigned identifying numbers. The contractor must report any problems with the technical data package to both the 556 SWES VDATS team and PCO. Vendors require Department of Defense contractor certification to access the restricted distribution statement D technical data. The contractor is responsible for management, coordination, and notification of issues to the government team; the government retains unlimited intellectual property rights and ownership of all produced units. A warranty per FAR 52.246-19 covering systems and equipment under design criteria is required.

1 INTRODUCTION
1.1 Purpose
The objective of this effort is to award a single contract to provide 30 units of the Interface Enclosure Assemblies.
1.2 Scope
This Statement of Work (SOW) defines contractor tasks and requirements for management, manufacturing, and delivery of the VDATS Interface Enclosure Assembly. A technical data package with drawings and models for each item has been developed and contains the individual specifications for each subassembly. The requirement is to build each of these items per the supplied engineering drawings.
1.3 Background
The Versatile Diagnostic Automatic Test Station (VDATS) Automatic Test Station (ATS) supports the testing of aircraft line replaceable units (LRU)s and Shop Replaceable Unit (SRU)s for most of the warfighter capability in the Air Force. The 76th Software Engineering Group (76
SWEG)/556 Software Engineering Squadron (556 SWES) engineers and maintains Test Program
Sets (TPS). The 556 SWES requires Enclosure Assemblies used to manufacture Interface Test
Adapters (ITAs). The Enclosure Assemblies are used to manufacture Interface Test Adapters
(ITAs). The enclosure assemblies are essentially a passthrough from the VDATS ATS to the
UUT.
2 SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS
2.1 Program and Engineering Management
All contractor tasks and requirements covered by this document shall be coordinated with the 556 SWES VDATS team. Overall responsibility and approval of any changes to the contract or attachments resides with the Procuring Contracting Officer (PCO). If technical changes are required, they shall be communicated to the PCO, and updated documents will be provided in order to modify the contract for inclusion.
2.2 Contract Management
Sub Overall responsibility and approval reside with the PCO. No conversation, recommendation, or direction, whether given directly or implied by Government personnel or representatives, that will affect the scope, schedule, or price of the program covered by this SOW, shall be acted upon by the contractor unless specifically directed in writing by the PCO.
2.2.1 If problems (typos, discrepancies, obsolescence, etc.) with the Production Level
Technical Data Package are found during the manufacturing process, the vendor shall promptly report the problems to 556 SWES VDATS Team and the PCO.
Alternate components and processes will be considered but must be approved in writing by the 556 SWES VDATS Team in coordination with the contracting office and incorporated by modification to the contract.
3 GOVERNMENT FURNISHED EQUIPMENT/INFORMATION
3.1 Government Furnished Equipment
There will be no Government Furnished Equipment associated with this contract.
3.2 Government Furnished Information
All drawings are distribution statement D, which require distribution to only authorized
Department of War and U.S. DoW contractors. Upon proof of DoW contractor certification, access to the Production Level Technical Data Package/Drawings will be provided to the contractor. The following documents/drawings will be provided in the
Technical Data Package:
