About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for federal contract opportunity FA813926Q0025 regarding Interface Enclosure Assemblies. The document addresses two key inquiries from potential contractors.

The first question clarifies security and clearance requirements, confirming that no facility security clearance, CMMC (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification) at any level, or personnel badging/screening under TAFBI 31-101 is required to receive the Technical Data Package or perform the contract. The second question pertains to Part Number 201411508 (Frame, Interface Enclosure) and provides welding specifications for aluminum bars that comprise the assembly. The government specifies that all aluminum bars must be welded together, with all joints finished and ground flat on the outer frame. Contractors must perform their typical in-house welding practices for Aluminum 6061 material and conduct visual inspection of welds for cracks, porosity, and incomplete fusion. No additional formal weld callouts or external welding specifications beyond standard in-house practices are required.
