About this file
This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for 3D-TLS Scanner 2-Year Maintenance services to be performed on Riegl 3D Terrestrial Laser Scanner equipment.
The contractor must complete comprehensive two-year system maintenance upon receipt and acceptance of the scanner in the Government Furnished Property (GFP) module of WAWF. The scope of work includes Basic Service Package A and encompasses the following primary activities: readjustment of the range measurement unit, firmware updates (contingent upon purchase of extended software maintenance), climate chamber testing with readjustment at varying temperatures, recalibration of internal calibration at the Riegl-Test-Field, recalibration of orientation sensors (IMU, gyro, inclination), recalibration of the magnetic field sensor (compass), verification of all interfaces (LAN 100MB/1GB, WLAN, GPS, USB Camera, USB-Stick), current consumption testing, electrical performance testing (maximum range, range accuracy), parameter verification, control PCB modification, rechargeable battery inspection (RBNE 2210), desiccant cartridge replacement with nitrogen reflush, service protocol preparation, test certificate generation, and cleaning before return. Upon completion, scanners must meet specified Riegl 3D-TLS performance requirements across five pulse repetition rate configurations (50 kHz to 1.2 MHz), with consistent accuracy of 5mm, precision of 3mm, laser wavelength in the near infrared spectrum, and beam divergence of 0.27 mrad. Scanners will be returned to Hill Air Force Base, Utah using the 84 RADES shipping account and transferred back to RADES in the WAWF GFP module.

Statement of Work
3D-TLS Scanner 2 Year Maintenance
Upon receipt of scanner and acceptance in the Government Furnished Property (GFP) module of
WAWF:
- Complete 2 year System Maintenance.
- Basic Service Package A
- Readjust the range measurement unit of the instrument
- Update firmware -> can only be done if extended software maintenance is purchased
- Test in the climate chamber and readjust at different temperatures
- Recalibrate the internal calibration at the "Riegl-Test-Field"
- Recalibrate the internal orientation sensors (imu, gyro, inclination)
- Recalibrate the internal compass (magnetic field sensor)
- Check all interfaces (LAN 100MB, 1GB, WLAN, GPS, USB Camera, USB-Stick)
- Check the current consumption of the scanner unit
- End test of electrical performance (max. range, range accuracy, etc. )
- Check the parameters of the instrument
- Modification of the control pcb
- Check the Add-On Rechargeable Battery RBNE 2210 (01219)
- Replace the desiccant cartridge and reflush with dry nitrogen
- Prepare the service protocol and test certificate
- Clean and return
