About this file

This Statement of Work details the requirements for purchasing and installing a double vault, precast concrete restroom at the Twin Tanks Parking Area in Joshua Tree National Park, Twentynine Palms, California. The project calls for one CXT Tioga Double Vault Restroom (or approved equal) with specific technical specifications including 18-gauge steel doors, Lexan polycarbonate windows, UNISEX ADA-compliant signage, stainless steel grab bars, and toilet paper dispensers. The restroom will feature a simulated barnwood-sandstone concrete wall texture and simulated cedar shake roof, with each vault having 1000-gallon capacity and double plastic vault liners.

The installation requires strict adherence to OSHA excavation standards, with precise requirements for site preparation, backfilling, and grading. The contractor must complete work between Monday and Friday, excluding federal holidays, with the exact installation location approximately 86 feet west of the asphalt parking area edge. The period of performance is 120 days from the award date, with completion determined upon inspection by the Contracting Officer Representative (COR). The contractor must provide at least one week's notice for delivery and installation, and must coordinate all logistics, including crane operations and site access, with the park project manager.
