About this file

The document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for 3D-TLS Scanner 2 Year Maintenance, detailing comprehensive maintenance services for two Riegl scanners (serial numbers H2223743 and H2223697) owned by 84 RADES. The maintenance scope includes a complete 2-year system maintenance package, involving multiple technical recalibration and testing procedures such as readjusting range measurement units, testing in climate chambers, recalibrating internal sensors and compass, checking interfaces and electrical performance, and replacing desiccant cartridges.

The maintenance service will be performed by Riegl USA and is designed to ensure the scanners meet specific technical specifications across different laser pulse repetition rates ranging from 50 kHz to 1.2 MHz. The scanners will be shipped sequentially, with the first scanner (SN #H2223743) sent to Riegl USA upon contract award, and the second scanner (SN #H2223697) shipped after the first is returned. Upon completion, the scanners will be returned to Hill AFB, UT using 84 RADES shipping account. The contract includes mandatory Government Furnished Property (GFP) clauses requiring tracking and reporting of provided equipment.

For each scanner, in turn:

- Complete 2 year System Maintenance.

- Basic Service Package A

- Readjust the range measurement unit of the instrument

- Update firmware -> can only be done if extended software maintenance is purchased

- Test in the climate chamber and readjust at different temperatures

- Recalibrate the internal calibration at the "Riegl-Test-Field"

- Recalibrate the internal orientation sensors (imu, gyro, inclination)

- Recalibrate the internal compass (magnetic field sensor)

- Check all interfaces (LAN 100MB, 1GB, WLAN, GPS, USB Camera, USB-Stick)

- Check the current consumption of the scanner unit

- End test of electrical performance (max. range, range accuracy, etc. )

- Check the parameters of the instrument

- Modification of the control pcb

- Check the Add-On Rechargeable Battery RBNE 2210 (01219)

- Replace the desiccant cartridge and reflush with dry nitrogen

- Prepare the service protocol and test certificate

- Clean and return

Scanners will meet the following Riegl 3D-TLS required specifications upon completion of service and calibration.
