About this file
This document is a Scope of Work (SOW) issued by the New York State Workers' Compensation Board (WCB) for Data Destruction and Electronics Recycling Services. The WCB requires the secure handling, data removal, and destruction of electronic media devices, as well as the proper separation, processing, and disposal or recycling of the remaining physical components. The SOW outlines the estimated volume of work at 21 WCB facilities across New York state, with anticipated pickups approximately four times per year. The selected vendor must maintain applicable licensing, provide secure transportation and storage, and implement data destruction and recycling processes in accordance with state and federal regulations.
The SOW includes detailed requirements for the data destruction and recycling services, as well as the response and pricing format. Bidders are required to complete a Pricing Worksheet and submit their proposals by April 25, 2024. The contract will be effective for a term of one year, with no guarantee of award or work. This is not a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned set-aside contract, and the WCB has not awarded any identical or substantially similar contracts within the past five years.
