Statement of Work (SOW) Project: Potash (0-0-60), gypsum 0-0-0-21CA-17S (SuperCal SO4) and boron (Granubor) fertilizer for approximately 350 alfalfa acres at the Prairie du Sac farm.
GENERAL INFORMATION
1.0 Scope of Work: The Prairie du Sac farm requires potash, gypsum (Supercal SO4), boron
(Granubor) for approximately 285 alfalfa acres.
2.0 Background: Alfalfa is produced for silage to meet the feed needs of the research dairy herd.
CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS
3.0 Technical Requirements/Tasks:
Key Requirements:
• Must specialize or have a depth of experience in custom fertilizer mixing.
• Must be able to delivery within 24 hours of ordering.
• Include in quote: delivery charge and tonnage tax, if applicable.
4.0 Government Furnished: Government will provide access to farm for delivery.
5.0 Deliverables / Schedule:
Potash, Gypsum, Boron for application on alfalfa acres as described below Quantity Ingredient
28.5 tons Potash (0-0-60) 2000 lbs Boron (14.3%) (Granubor or equivalent)
17.8 tons Gypsum (0-0-0-21CA-17S) (SuperCal SO4 or equivalent)
Delivery in approximately 6 ton batches between 7-20-2023 and 8-15-2023 depending on weather to S8822 Sunset Drive, Prairie du Sac, WI 53578. Delivery needs to occur with a fertilizer auger truck that can fill a pull type airflow spreader (approximately 12 ft high). Farm will call within 3 business days for delivery.
