About this file
This statement of work outlines requirements for an ultra high resolution variable pressure field emission scanning electron microscope. Key specifications for the microscope include a thermal Schottky field emission gun capable of analyzing non-conductive samples from 5-250Pa at magnifications from 20-2,000,000x. The system must include specified detectors, a 5-axis motorized stage, and achieve 1nm beam resolution without negative bias. Additional requirements include image mapping software, redundant power, and a one year warranty. Installation and training must be provided by certified personnel at the Naval Air Warfare Center in Lakehurst, New Jersey within 150 days of order receipt. The related federal contract opportunity is a request for information to identify qualified vendors able to supply the microscope defined in the statement of work for potential future procurement. Responses are requested within 10 days and should include business size, pricing, and registration information.
