e. Base Delays

Delays associated with processing vehicle passes, commercial gate inspections, or working on an active military installation are at the Contractor's risk and shall not justify scheduling modifications without prior Contracting Officer approval.

4. Technical Specifications & Quality Assurance

4.1 Contractor Labor

The Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, material handling equipment (such as pallet jacks and dollies), and specialized hardware required for successful completion of the delivery and setup.

4.2 Assembly Safety

Given the physical footprint and weight of high-density tool cabinets, assembly must be performed by experienced technicians. Storage units must be leveled, drawers adjusted for smooth self-closing performance, and individual casters fastened and load-tested in accordance with the manufacturer's rated safety limits.

4.3 Defect Remediation

The Contractor shall have ultimate responsibility for the defect-free deployment of the industrial storage components. Any component damaged during transit or installation (including deep scratches on powder-coated steel or splintered hardwood tops) shall be replaced or re-worked at the Contractor's sole expense.

5. Government Furnished Utilities

The government will furnish electricity (120V standard wall outlets) at the installation site at no cost to the contractor for the operation of electric assembly tools. The contractor shall supply their own power strips, extension cords, and hand tools.

6. Base Access

The contractor shall obtain commercial base access permits for all delivery personnel, subcontractors, vehicles, and equipment. Valid commercial vehicle registration, driver's licenses, and proof of vehicle insurance must be presented at the Commercial Visitor Control Center prior to entry.

7. Regulations and Standards

The contractor shall comply with all Patrick Space Force Base safety standards and federal

Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations. The contractor is responsible for the supervision of all contract personnel and safety protocols during the material deployment.

8. Debris and Trash Control

The contractor is strictly prohibited from utilizing base dumpsters for the disposal of shipping pallets, wooden crates, cardboard, or foam packing materials. All debris must be loaded back onto the contractor's vehicle and disposed of off-base.

9. Tobacco Policy

There is a strict Air Force policy of NO SMOKING or TOBACCO USE inside any government building, hangar, or military vehicle in accordance with Air Force Instruction (AFI) 40-102.
