The project involves upgrading from an existing 32-camera LTD8432K-ST system to a new VSS with 55 total cameras - 32 replacements in existing locations plus 23 new camera installations. The system must operate on a standalone network and include Power over Ethernet (PoE) cameras, 6-month storage capacity, 30-minute battery backup, servers and infrastructure hardware, and audio capabilities for all cameras.
Key technical requirements include ability to operate all cameras from a single monitoring station, mouse/on-screen camera controls, support for 30 customizable user accounts, and installation of PTZ and stationary cameras across specific locations including corridors, lobbies, rooms, stairs and building exterior. The contractor must provide training for 5 attendees during normal duty hours, maintain system operation during installation, remove existing equipment, and provide at least a one-year warranty. Work hours are 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Monday-Friday, with base access requiring proper identification through the Fort Meade Visitor Center. The SOW includes detailed camera placement requirements for 43 interior locations and 12 exterior PTZ cameras with 180-270 degree coverage and 200' range.
