About this file
This document outlines requirements for a federal contract to purchase area detectors and calibration equipment. CONS is seeking to acquire three area monitors, at least one with a pump and two without, to deploy during hazardous materials or confined space incidents. The detectors must have a run time of at least seven days, integrate sensors for PID, LEL, CO, H2S, and O2, use LENS wireless technology, have rechargeable batteries, communicate up to 1000 feet, be compatible with SAFER One modeling software, include a 3 button keypad, log data for 3 months at 10 second intervals, have IP66 ingress protection and impact-resistant polycarbonate case materials, and operate from -4 to 131 degrees Fahrenheit with 15-95% non-condensing humidity. They should also include a 4.4-inch display, 108dB alarm, redundant LEDs, charging equipment, one docking station, and a set of calibration equipment. The related solicitation was issued by the Air Force Air Combat Command under number FA460023Q0032 for area detectors at Offutt AFB.
