About this file

This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for a stage curtain replacement and installation project at Brewster Middle School, located at Camp Lejeune, NC. The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) requires a custom-sewn curtain with multiple layers of fire-retardant velvet and muslin in royal blue, complete with ballast, curtain pulls, and ceiling-mounted tracks. The contractor must provide shipping, installation, hardware, and fasteners, and deliver the product within 90 days of contract award.

Key requirements include providing a three-year extended warranty, presenting point of contact information, offering evidence of fire-retardant material, and ensuring installation team members have proper base access credentials. The project involves replacing a 24-year-old curtain that has sustained water damage and vandalism, with the new curtain being critical for school events since the gymnasium serves as the primary performance space. The contractor must also maintain communication with the school's Administrative Officer and complete a thorough cleanup of the work site after installation.
