About this file

This is a second request for bids for janitorial supplies issued by the St. Tammany Parish School Board in Covington, Louisiana. The bid solicitation seeks various janitorial and cleaning supplies required for school board operations. The document outlines the specific products and quantities needed, including items such as cleaning chemicals, paper products, brushes, mops, and other facility maintenance materials. Interested vendors were required to submit responses by the specified deadline, with the contract award anticipated following the bid evaluation period. The contract term and any renewal options are subject to the terms outlined in the bid documents.

The second request for bids indicates that an initial solicitation did not yield acceptable responses or sufficient competition. Pricing shall be submitted on an itemized basis for each janitorial supply product or category as specified in the bid requirements. The school board may apply any applicable set-asides for small or minority-owned businesses as permitted under Louisiana procurement regulations. This procurement represents the school board's effort to secure competitive pricing and reliable supply sources for essential janitorial and maintenance materials needed to support facility operations and cleanliness standards across school board properties.
