About this file
This is a Source Sought notice for propulsion test cell requirements in support of multiple military aircraft engines. The Air Force Materiel Command Air Force Sustainment Center (AFLCMC/LPSID) at Tinker Air Force Base is conducting market research to identify qualified vendors capable of producing test cells for F100, F110, J85, and T56 engines. The government is considering issuing a solicitation in January 2027 for a 10-year contract structured as one five-year basic period with one three-year option and one two-year option. Interested vendors must be restricted to NAICS codes 336412/336413 with PCS/FSC codes J028/2840, hold USAF approval as a vendor for engine test cells, and be Top Secret qualified or capable of obtaining Top Secret clearance. Small business status is not required.
Vendors must demonstrate capability to produce engine test stand support equipment and associated services including control cabs, ADAQ systems, thrust stands, fuel and oil preservation systems, mechanical kits, calibration kits, installation, maintenance, modifications, design consultation, and site surveys. The required annual production volumes are two F100 units, two F110 units, one J85 unit, and one T56 unit per year. Companies interested in responding should submit company name, CAGE code, DUNS number, and proof of active SAM registration. This is a pre-solicitation notice for market research purposes only and does not guarantee a formal solicitation will be issued; responses are voluntary and will not impact eligibility for future solicitations.
