About this file

The document is a notice for the Support Services Qualification 2023 (SSQUAL-23) issued by the Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services (DDS). The SSQUAL-23 BID/RFR is being released to create a qualifying list of providers for an array of discrete support services intended to provide assistance, skill development, and support in a variety of life areas to DDS eligible individuals. The document outlines recent updates to the qualification, including changes to the language around peer supports virtual service delivery and the allowance for cost reimbursement contracts on a limited basis for respite projects supported with ARPA dollars. Additionally, the Department will now be processing the Standard Contract form electronically rather than requiring bidders to upload and mail the signed form.

The document indicates that this BID/RFR will replace the previous SSQUAL-10 RFR and any updates to that RFR. No other details about pricing terms, set asides, incumbents, funding requirements or sources, or contract term and renewal options are provided.
