About this file
This document is a Specification Compliance Form issued by the North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) for procuring a 7700 GVWR SUV 4x4 for the current production year. The form provides detailed specifications for bidders to complete, requiring potential vendors to indicate make and model compliance with a comprehensive list of body and chassis requirements. Bidders are instructed to check compliance boxes, provide vehicle details, and return the form with their bid response sheet. The specification outlines requirements for a 4-door SUV with specific features including full-length headliner, power windows, air conditioning, cloth seating, four-wheel drive, 131" minimum wheelbase, 6-cylinder 3.5-liter engine, automatic transmission, trailer tow package, and a minimum 5-year/60,000-mile warranty on engine and powertrain.
The form indicates that the awarded bidder will be required to provide dealer invoice pricing for additional vehicle options and that vehicles must meet Federal Government requirements and be equipped with all standard factory equipment. Bidders are advised to contact the Procurement Officer prior to the question deadline if their proposed make and model does not fully comply with the specifications. The document is dated 9/23/2025 and carries the specification number SSP14-2, suggesting this is part of a competitive procurement process for fleet vehicle acquisition by the North Dakota Department of Transportation.
