About this file
This document is a Single Source Justification (Simplified Acquisition) for the 60th Contracting Squadron/PKB. The procurement is for two Badge Access Readers for the Surgical Suite at David Grant Medical Center (DGMC), to be integrated with the existing medical facility badge reader system. The two rooms are located in 3B308 and 3B318, and the system will use PremiSys Access Control Management, manufactured and licensed by Acre Security.
Market research was conducted across multiple sources including UNICOR, GSA Advantage, and other platforms, with a Sources Sought Notice revealing that no vendors met the technical certifications required. Historical contract analysis showed two previous comparable contracts, and the justification concludes that Advance Sound & Electronics is the sole authorized small business distributor for Acre Security's system components. The contracting officer has determined that a single source is reasonably available, with the procurement recommended to be processed as a sole source, fixed-price contract awarded to Advance Sound & Electronics under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (Only One Responsible Source).
