Strangulation is a particularly violent aspect of both domestic violence and sexual assault allegations that has received increased attention of late due to the statistical correlation to increased chances of strangulation victims ultimately being killed by their attackers and mass shootings. This course teaches the mechanisms to prevent strangulation incidents in the DON from escalating into even more serious offenses.
