SUBJECT: Sources Sought Notice - Multi-Disciplinary Design-Build Construction at AUAB, Qatar (FA570221R0024)
1. PURPOSE
This Sources Sought Notice is issued for market research purposes only to identify potential vendors capable of fulfilling multi-disciplinary design-build construction requirements at Al Udeid Air Base (AUAB), Qatar. This is not a solicitation for proposals, bids, or quotations, and does not obligate the Government to issue a solicitation or award a contract. No reimbursement will be provided for costs associated with responding to this Notice.
2. OBJECTIVES
This Sources Sought aims to:
a. Identify potential vendors capable of fulfilling multi-disciplinary design-build construction requirements at AUAB, Qatar.
b. Gather industry information to enhance the Government's existing Multi-Year MACC IDIQ procurement strategy.
3. PROJECT OVERVIEW
AUAB seeks potential sources with the expertise, capabilities, and experience to execute various engineering design and construction projects. Selected contractors must manage up to ten (10) concurrent projects, each valued up to $300,000.00.
3.1 Scope of Work:
Project types may include, but are not limited to:
• New construction
• Interior/exterior remodeling
• Renovations
• Repairs
Project areas may include, but are not limited to:
• Civil
• Structural
• Architectural
• Mechanical
• Plumbing
• Communications
• Intrusion/Detection Audio/Visual Systems
• Electrical
• Petroleum/Oil/Lubricants Systems
• Asphalt and Concrete Pavements
• Masonry
• Roofing Systems
• Earthworks and Landscaping
• Environmental and Hazardous Abatements
• Aerial and Underground Utilities
• Power and Heat Generation
3.2 Estimated Project Volume:
• Annual Project Opportunities: 45-75
• Projected Contract Period of Performance: 8 July 2025 – 7 July 2027
• Estimated Annual Total Value: $30,000,000.00 - $60,000,000.00 (USD)
3.3 Base Access:
Awarded contractors will require access to AUAB for the contract duration. The Government will implement a recurring base pass renewal process to ensure uninterrupted service and timely project execution.
4. CONTRACTOR CAPABILITY SURVEY
Interested parties are encouraged to submit responses addressing the inquiries outlined in the attached Contractor Capability Survey.

6. FUTURE SOLICITATION
If the Government decides to solicit proposals based on this market research, a formal solicitation will be published on www.sam.gov and the Joint Contingency Contracting System (JCCS) www.jccs.gov.
