About this file

This is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) filed by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services announcing its intent to enter into a single-source agreement with IGA, Inc. for the "Fresh from Florida" Grocery Retailer Marketing Program. The procurement involves advertising and promotional services across multiple UNSPSC codes including sales and business promotion activities, publicity and marketing advisory services, and brand promotion and management services. The Division of Marketing and Development plans to execute a month-long marketing campaign featuring in-store signage, digital content, co-branded video advertisements for social media and Connected TV platforms, co-branded social media posts, and a dedicated landing page promoting Florida products through selected IGA stores. The solicitation was posted on August 21, 2026, with a deadline for prospective vendors to submit information regarding their ability to provide the requested commodities or services by September 14, 2026. The contract term extends from the date of execution through June 30, 2027.

The estimated contract amount is approximately $100,000, with a maximum ceiling of $150,000. The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is authorized under Section 570, F.S., to promote agricultural products through various media channels including advertising, print, television, and digital platforms. The justification for the single-source procurement centers on IGA, Inc.'s unique position as the only known vendor capable of identifying specific IGA stores with available Florida products, creating and distributing coordinated in-store signage, developing and publishing co-branded digital content, and executing targeted media buys for the promotional campaign. The procurement requires compliance with department rules and coordination through authorized partners for all uses of the "Fresh from Florida" logo. Contact for this procurement is Edward Rondeau at the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.
