About this file
This is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) filed by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services' Division of Marketing and Development. The agency intends to procure advertising and marketing services for the "Fresh from Florida" Grocery Retailer Marketing Program through a single-source agreement with IGA, Inc. The scope of work includes promoting the "Fresh From Florida" logo through in-store and digital month-long campaigns at selected IGA stores, developing a dedicated landing page featuring participating stores, creating in-store signage displaying Florida products, producing co-branded video advertisements for social media platforms and Connected TV, and generating co-branded social media content. The contract term extends from the date of execution through June 30, 2027. The deadline for prospective vendors to submit information challenging the single-source justification is September 14, 2026, with the notice posted for a minimum 15 business days beginning August 21, 2026.
The estimated contract value ranges from approximately $100,000 to $150,000. The agency justified the single-source procurement by noting that IGA, Inc. is the only known vendor capable of identifying specific IGA stores with available Florida products during promotional periods, creating and distributing in-store signage across multiple locations, producing and publishing co-branded digital content, and executing targeted media buys for the digital campaign. The procurement is authorized under Section 570, Florida Statutes, which grants the Department authority to promote agricultural products through various advertising and media channels, with all promotional use of the "Fresh From Florida" logo requiring compliance with department rules and coordination through authorized partners.
