About this file

This is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) document from the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, seeking a partnership with the New York Yankees for sports event promotion and sponsorship. The document indicates a contract term from execution through June 30, 2026, with a focus on promoting Florida agricultural commodities and related businesses. The partnership specifically involves the Tampa Tarpons and offers various promotional opportunities including game-day activations, signage placements, and digital integrations to reach a broad audience.

The estimated contract amount is approximately $50,000, with a total budgeted amount of up to $75,000. The justification for a single-source acquisition is the New York Yankees Partnership's exclusive ownership, licensing, naming rights, and trademarks. The procurement is authorized under Florida Statute 571.2 (Florida Agricultural Promotional Campaign Act) and is intended to support the state's marketing program for agricultural initiatives. The document was approved by several key personnel including the Chief of Seafood and Agriculture Marketing, the Director of Marketing and Development, and other administrative leaders.
