About this file
This is a Notice of Intent (SS-25-018-RS) issued by the City of Altamonte Springs, Florida, seeking to waive the standard solicitation process and approve SFB Consulting, LLC as a single-source vendor for consulting services on an as-needed basis. The consulting services will focus on providing information about opportunities in the North American transportation market, supporting innovation partnerships and STEM learning for the Altamonte Global Innovation Lab (AGiL), and assisting with other unspecified projects. The response deadline is set for 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 3, 2025, during which interested vendors can submit alternate solutions that potentially overcome the sole/single source justification.
The document explicitly states that this is not a formal bid or proposal request, and the City will only consider responses to determine if bona fide competition exists that might challenge the sole/single source justification. If no compelling alternatives are presented, the City will prepare a recommendation to the City Commission requesting approval to waive the solicitation process. The procurement contact for this notice is Roxana Siaca-Jones, Procurement Division Manager, who can be reached at RSiaca@altamonte.org. The City reserves the right to request additional information from responding vendors and evaluate their financial, technical, and operational qualifications.
