About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details a sewer service line rehabilitation project for the Indian Health Service located at 1149 Goldfinch Road in Horton, Kansas. The contractor is required to rehabilitate a section of sewer service line using the Cured-in-Place Pipe (CIPP) method, which involves replacing existing cleanouts, clearing debris from the service line, and installing a resin-impregnated felt tube through the existing service line. Additional requirements include installing two-way and one-way cleanouts with 4-inch Schedule 40 PVC materials, and restoring the site by fertilizing, seeding, and mulching disturbed areas with Kentucky 31, Fescue, and annual rye grass.
The project has specific technical and procedural requirements, including performing work only Monday through Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, providing a one-year warranty on materials and labor, and conducting visual inspections of sewer line joints. The contractor must contact the Construction Inspector three business days before starting work, leave work exposed for inspection, and restore the site to its original condition. The work must be performed by licensed personnel, with all materials and installation meeting detailed specifications for cleanouts, pipe lining, and site restoration.
