About this file

This document is Amendment 0002 to Solicitation SPRRA2-26-R-0008, issued by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Weapons Support on January 27, 2026. The amendment provides official government responses to vendor questions regarding a 5-year Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) for Patriot weapon system components, specifically part number 11457604. The solicitation is for firm fixed price supply contracts with a minimum initial award of 43 units and an estimated 9 units per year thereafter for the remaining contract period. The proposal submission deadline is February 16, 2026, at 1:00 PM CST.

Key clarifications provided in the Questions and Answers section address vendor concerns regarding qualified supplier list requirements (not required), ordering intervals (first delivery order will be for the full 43 units), minimum delivery quantities (government's minimum is 43 units with award, though vendors may propose range pricing), and technical documentation (top-level assembly drawings and parts lists will be provided via DoD SAFE to interested vendors). All offerors are required to acknowledge receipt of this amendment via email by signing and returning it with their proposal. Future communications must be directed to Contracting Officer Nicole Thompson (Nicole.Thompson@dla.mil) or Contract Specialist Rodney Haygood (Rodney.Haygood@dla.mil).

Amendment to Solicitation: Response to Vendor Questions

Solicitation Number: SPRRA2-26-R-0008

Amendment Number:0002

Date: January 27, 2026

This amendment is issued to provide official Government responses to the questions received from potential offerors regarding the solicitation referenced above.

All other terms and conditions of the solicitation remain unchanged unless otherwise specified in this amendment.

Questions and Answers

Below is the list of questions submitted by vendors with the official Government responses.

(1). Question: Qualified Supplier List (QSL): We did not see specific call-outs regarding a QSL for the components. Is there a QSL for this NSN? We want to ensure that our components meet the technical requirements and are assembled according to the drawings, so we are in full compliance.

(1A). Government Response: There are no specifics or call-outs regarding a QSL listed in any of the documents, so it is not required.

(2). Question: Ordering Intervals: The solicitation for the 5-year IDC specifies a minimum of 43 units in the first year and an estimated 9 units per year thereafter. Does DLA anticipate issuing a bulk order for the initial 43 units, or will they be ordered in intervals?

(2A). Government Response: The first delivery order will be generated and issued for QTY 43 units.

(3). Question: Minimum Delivery Quantities: Are we able to request a minimum quantity per delivery order? This information will help us price the proposal more competitively, as there are components that have minimum order quantities.

(3A). Governments Response: Please review page 4 of the Solicitation which states: The Government's minimum quantity to be awarded simultaneously with the award of the basic contract is 43 each. Although vendors are able to provide range prices as an additional addendum to their proposal if necessary.

(4). Question: We are unable to identify the top-level assembly drawing for PN 11457604. Most of the available documentation appears to be related to sub-assemblies and connectors. With that in mind, would you be able to share any additional data or documentation associated with this part number?

(4A). Government Response: The top drawing and PL are listed in the package content in the TDL file which are C4 documents. These files will be provided to interested vendors who have requested drawing via DoD SAFE.

Important Reminders
