About this file
This is Amendment 0001 to Solicitation SPRRA1-26-R-0018, a firm fixed price indefinite delivery requirements contract issued by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) for alternating current generators. The amendment, effective April 2, 2026, extends the proposal due date from March 22, 2026 to April 2, 2026 at 2:00 PM. The solicitation is a five-year requirements contract with an estimated minimum quantity of 156 units (NAICS code 335312, commodity name: Generator, Alternating Current). The Government intends to issue a delivery order for 156 units at contract award but is not obligated to order additional quantities beyond the minimum during the five-year performance period. The contract is segregated into five one-year ordering periods beginning on the date of award, with Year 1 running through day 365 after contract award (DACA), and subsequent years following 365-day intervals through Year 5 (ending at 1,825 DACA). Prices quoted for each ordering year will be valid for all quantities ordered during that ordering period.
The amendment modifies contract clauses and adds required federal provisions for defense contracts, including small business subcontracting, buy American and balance of payments, rights in bid information, technical data withholding and validation, equal opportunity for veterans, duty-free entry, contractor code of business ethics and conduct, and representations relating to compensation of former DOD officials and unmanned aircraft systems. The Government intends to award only one requirements-type basic contract. Packaging must comply with MIL-STD-2073-1 Codes, Appendix J, with military preservation and Level B packing. Inspection and acceptance occur at origin. All references to F.O.B. origin apply to quantities ordered after the first delivery order. Contracting Officer: Josh E Long, DLA/AHAA, (256)690-5731.
