About this file
This file is a Questions and Answers document addressing submission requirements and evaluation procedures for a sole source solicitation (SPMYM426Q3675) for an Electro Powerpack item issued by the Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime. Respondents must submit complete proposals including company information with CAGE code, a price quote, manufacturer name, estimated delivery timeline, and country of origin (COO) for the item. The solicitation uses Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) as the evaluation criterion, and vendor responsibility will be determined using PPIRS and screened in accordance with FAR 9.104. Delivery is required to Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard (DoDAAC N32253) in Hawaii with FOB Destination terms. As a sole source procurement, the government reserves the right to request a redacted quote for traceability purposes following initial quote submission. Respondents unable to meet required delivery dates should provide their estimated delivery timeline rather than declining to participate.

Q & As
1. Q: What do I need to submit for my solicitation to be considered complete?
A: As stated in the solicitation, you need to submit your information, including cage code. The quote, the MFR name, your estimated delivery timeline, Country of Origin(COO).
2. Q: What if I can’t make the required delivery date?
A: We ask that you give your estimated delivery date.
3. Q: What should I ask the MFR info about? Should I ask about the COO?
A: I am not on that side of acquisitions so I can’t necessarily speak on how to talk to a MFR but you should get the MFR’s country of origin for the item when you get your quote.
4. Q: Is there anything else I need?
A. This is a sole source solicitation so as part of the evaluation process I may be asking you for a redacted quote for traceability after I receive the quote.
