Metal Roll-Up Door

Roll-up door description:

• Door curtain will be manufactured with a minimum thickness of 22 gauge or greater with galvanized steel slats.

• Steel slats should be galvanized per ASTM standards.

• Slats should be large flat 2-5/8” with a ¾” recess.

• Each slat should be continuous one piece.

• Door hood should be manufactured with 24 gauge galvanized steel with reinforced top and bottom edges / lips.

• Door hood; should be designed to fully encapsulate roll up door.

• Coil mechanism; heavy duty / industrial grade, 20K cycle operation, with heat treaded coil springs.

• Door should be operational by manual chain with maximum 25lb pull force to operate door.

• Door must have steel channel guides, should be 3/16” steel or greater.

• Door should be designed to withstand to 80 MPH winds or greater.

• Door brackets (fixture) should be 3/16” or greater.

• Door enclosure system should have a grey powder coated finish.

• Door must have chain locking mechanism.

• Door shall be an exterior mount / with aluminum bottom bar and neoprene astragal to help prevent water intrusion.

• Remove and dispose of existing canvas closure on existing single sided storage racks, modifications to galvanized steel structure, roofing, trim and install chain operated roll up coil doors.

• Coil door to be 11’9” wide, 13’6” tall with 2 5/8” tall galvanized 22ga slats grey and U guide angles. 1 right hand 1 left hand chain operator.

• Work to be done in contractor laydown area off the pier.
