About this file
This is a Vendor Questions and Answers document addressing inquiries regarding the procurement of a deburring machine for metal processing operations.
The solicitation does not specify a particular brand or manufacturer; any brand meeting the stated specifications is acceptable, though Costa was identified as a viable option. The machine must accommodate product dimensions ranging from a maximum of 2" × 2" × 0.250" (L × W × T) to a minimum of 12 ft × 48" × 6" (L × W × T). The equipment will process both sheet and plate materials, primarily carbon steel and stainless steel, with a maximum weight capacity of 600 lbs. The machine must handle deburring from multiple cutting methods, including water jet, laser, plasma, and oxyacetylene processes. The equipment will operate two shifts daily, providing continuous production capability for the end user's deburring requirements.
