About this file

This document is a Justification for Exception to Fair Opportunity for a Multiple Award Contract (MAC) Order for the Alaska Army National Guard. The procurement is for wireless telecommunications services and devices through the DOD Wireless Services Multiple Award Contracts (Spiral4 IDIQ MACs), specifically awarding a task order to FirstNet. The services include wireless mobility technologies covering feature phones, smartphones, tablets, mobile hotspots, data cards, and other wireless network data devices and services.

The justification cites economy and efficiency as reasons for sole-sourcing, noting that current services are through FirstNet and maintaining existing services will prevent disruption. The contract will be a firm, fixed-price order, and the procurement is mandated to use the NAVSUP FLC San Diego awarded DOD Wireless Services Contracts. The total order is N00244-24-D-0005, with the contracting point of contact being Alexis D. Potter from the Alaska Army National Guard, located at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska.
