About this file
This document is a specifications file for Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine (AUCVM) seeking a vendor to provide scrubs and lab coats for multiple veterinary facilities, including the Large and Small Animal Teaching Hospitals, Raptor Center, and Auburn Veterinary Specialists. The bid solicitation allows for scrub purchases in six color options (Navy, Ciel Blue, Black, Bahama, Steel, and Teal) with a mandatory AUCVM logo embroidery requirement. Lab coats will feature the university logo and optional embroidered names/credentials. The contract includes potential four-year renewal options, contingent on mutually agreeable pricing and terms, with the initial award subject to vendor compliance with specific local and licensing requirements.
The specifications outline several critical vendor qualifications, including mandatory CLC licensing, Auburn University Trademark & Licensing approval, and local geographical proximity (Auburn/Opelika area) to facilitate product fitting. Financial terms prohibit credit card fees and include no up-charges for rush orders. Vendors must provide their standard operating hours and submit detailed pricing for embroidery services, specifically requesting costs for single and double-line embroidery in one color. The procurement process emphasizes local vendor engagement, quality control, and flexible customization options for veterinary medical professional attire.
