SPECIFICATION SHEET

Mountain Home AFB, ID Marina L-Dock Replacement 24 July 2023

1. GENERAL:

The 366th Fighter Wing located on Mountain Home AFB, ID requires new floating docks to replace the current floating dock system at CJ Strike Marina to include delivery and installation of the products.

2. FLOATING DOCKS MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS: . The contractor will accomplish all actions necessary to replace the current floating docks: L-Dock, Launch Dock and Fishing Dock with like, or upgraded, sturdy, weather/water resistant, modular (removable) dock system. Below are the specifications for each dock that must be fulfilled:

2.1. Physical Characteristics

2.1.1.L-Dock is currently 8 ft x 80 ft from abutment to L-Joint, 8 ft x 64 ft from outsideedge of joint extending left.
2.1.1.1 L-Dock must be constructed of metal frame (aluminum or galvanized steel), andsturdy enough to handle the torsional and lateral stress loads of the waterway.
2.1.1.2. L-Dock must be jointed system to accommodate water movement/weatherconditions.
2.1.1.3. L-Dock must be modular to accommodate removal of dock from the water duringthe off season.

2.1.1.4. L-Dock must have mounts to abutment with grade-8 bolts and hardware.

2.1.1.5. L-Dock must be mounted to existing abutment mounts and self-supporting from those mounts, use cabled anchors if required, no pilings.

2.1.1.6. L-Dock must have “bare foot” friendly, non-skid/slip decking.

2.1.1.7 L-Dock must have bumpers/padding to protect watercraft and ample cleats to facilitate docking of watercraft.

2.1.1.8.L-Dock must have a compound 45-degree joint/section to the left at the apex of the “L”.

2.1.2.Launch Dock is currently 6 ft x 24 ft (2ea. 12 ft sections), can be single section orjointed.
2.1.2.1 Launch Dock must be constructed of metal frame (aluminum or galvanized steel),and sturdy enough to handle the torsional and lateral stress loads of the waterway.
2.1.2.2. L-Dock must be modular to accommodate removal of dock from the water duringthe off season.
2.1.2.3. Launch Dock must be sturdy enough to withstand launching/retrieval of marinawatercraft. Also, sturdy enough to maintain launch dock shape and occasionaldisturbances from rough wake caused by any watercraft.

2.1.2.4. Launch Dock must have “bare foot” friendly, non-skid/slip decking.

2.1.2.5. Launch Dock must have bumpers/padding to protect watercraft and ample cleatsto facilitate docking of watercraft.
2.1.3.Fishing Dock is currently 6 ft x 24 ft (2ea. 12 ft sections), can be single section orjointed.
2.1.3.1 Fishing Dock must be constructed of metal frame (aluminum or galvanized steel),and sturdy enough to handle the torsional and lateral stress loads of the waterway.

2.1.3.2.Fishing Dock should/can match Launch Dock with the following exceptions:

a third section be installed at the end in a perpendicular orientation to form a “T”.

2.1.3.3. Fishing Dock should be sturdy enough to stay mounted in-place year-round and considered permanent, use of small pilings or anchors may be acceptable.

2.2. Warranty

2.2.1. The contractor will supply a standard commercial warranty/ manufacturer warranty.

3. INSTALLATION: The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, transportation, and other items needed to setup/install the requested floating docks.

3.1. The Contractor shall install all requested equipment in accordance with (IAW) manufacturer’s specifications.

3.2. The Contractor shall ensure proper operation of the installed floating docks.

3.3. Any equipment not functioning properly IAW manufacture’s specifications shall bediagnosed and repaired by the Contractor.
3.4. The contractor shall submit drawings of the configuration of the new docks andinclude its dimensions.
3.5. The contractor shall furnish a copy of operation and maintenance manuals for anyproducts installed. The manuals shall contain complete instructions for operation,inspection, testing and maintenance of the system and shall include partbreakdown diagrams.
3.6. The contractor will train Outdoor Recreation facility personnel on installationincluding the assembly and disassembly of the product installed safely andefficiently.
3.7. The contractor should provide one (1) annual follow-up to ensure expected longevityis on track.
3.8. The contractor shall identify and obtain all required permits from Mountain HomeAFB, federal, state, and local agencies.
3.9. The Contractor shall ensure cleanliness of Government facility is maintained at alltimes.
3.10. The Government will inspect facility for cleanliness prior to Contractor’sdeparture.
3.11. Any damage done to Government property by the Contractor shall be repaired bythe Contractor at the Contractor’s expense.

4. SPECIFICS:

4.1. Shipping must be included in the quotation.

4.1.1. Delivery/Location of Service. The contractor will perform the installation and replacement of the new dock at USAF CJ Strike Marina, 342950. Out of Owyhee Co, CJ Strike Dam, Grandview, ID 83624.

4.1.2. Mr. Shane Stephens (208-828-6139) is the designated primary point-of-contact.
