About this file

This is a specifications document for a micro-market kiosk system procurement. The document outlines comprehensive technical and functional requirements for two distinct kiosk configurations designed to serve as automated retail markets, likely for a state or local agency. Configuration #1 requires a full-sized kiosk with cash in/out capability, featuring a 15.5-inch touchscreen, credit card swipe functionality, web camera, biometric fingerprint scanner, custom decal, and barcode scanner. Configuration #2 specifies a full-sized kiosk with change credited to account functionality, including dual screens (22-inch promotional and 19-inch touchscreen), credit card reader, web camera system, custom decal, barcode scanner, bill acceptor, and biometric fingerprint scanner. The specifications require detailed pricing breakdowns for both configurations with clarity on what is specifically included in each.

The procurement requires vendors to demonstrate compliance with multiple operational and technical specifications including predictive inventory management with theft and spoilage tracking, cloud-based web accessibility, real-time monitoring capabilities for state oversight and visually impaired operators, bilingual (English/Spanish) functionality, 24/7 customer service support, and remote mobile application management. Additional requirements include PCI certification, durable kiosk construction, cash reconciliation functionality, system updates via internet without scheduled appointments, and encrypted credit card processing. Vendors must provide warranty information, five recent references, local repair technician contacts, user manuals, and itemized fee structures for credit cards, royalties, annual/monthly fees, setup fees, ongoing support and maintenance, and shipping/freight costs, which should be included in quotes.
