SPECIFICATION SHEET
Mountain Home AFB, ID
8K Rough Terrain Forklift Rental/Lease 1 Oct 2024
1. GENERAL: Units of the 366th Fighter Wing located in Mountain Home, ID require the rental/lease of ten (10) forklifts delivered to two locations from 08 October 2024 to 07 November 2024.
2. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, labor, management, equipment, tools, and any other item(s) or services necessary in order to transport/ship/deliver, and pick-up for return, ten
(10) Rough Terrain Forklifts with 6’ forks, which will be delivered to two separate locations as indicated below in Section 4. The Item(s) shall be delivered on 08 Oct 2024 and picked up on 7 November 2024.
MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS: must (at a minimum) comply with the following salient characteristics and capabilities:
2.1. Physical Characteristics. The forklifts will be used to unload/load military equipment from trailers and will be used outdoors on unpaved surfaces.
2.1.1. Forklifts must be traditional straight mast forklifts able to be operated by any individual with a traditional forklift certification. Telehandler forklifts are not acceptable.
2.1.2. Minimum lift capacity 8,000 pounds.
2.1.3. Straight mast, 220" minimum fork height.
2.1.4. Diesel-operated engine, electric and LPG forklifts not acceptable.
2.1.5. Rough Terrain Capable. Will not be used in a warehouse.
2.1.6. Forklifts must be equipped with 6’ forks capable of moving large military pallets, roughly 88” x 108”.
2.1.7. 2WD or 4 WD acceptable.
2.1.8. Offeror’s must include/state their capability of delivering items on time and ability to meet the required deliver dates.
3. INSTALLATION/SETUP: The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision,transportation, and other items needed to deliver the requested forklifts, to be ready for use upon delivery. The Contractor shall assemble and install all requested equipment in accordance with (IAW) manufacturer’s specifications. (If needed/applicable). Any equipment not functioning properly IAW manufacture’s specifications shall be diagnosed and repaired by the Contractor. Forklifts must arrive with a full fuel tank in order to be used immediately. Any additional fuel will be provided by the Government.
. 4. LOCATION & DELIVERY:
4.1. Contractor shall deliver four (4) units to the Twin Falls Airport, 492 Airport Loop, Twin Falls, ID 83301
4.2. Contractor shall deliver six (6) units to Wendover Airfield, Utah. 345 Airport Apron, Wendover UT 84083.
4.3. Rental period for both locations will be 08 October 2024 – 7 November 2024. The contractor is required to unload/load forklifts upon delivery and pickup. Government personnel/ equipment will not assist load/unloading the equipment, and no loading dock or ramp is available at either location.
