About this file
This document is a Specifications document for a state and local government contract opportunity for the procurement of an airboat. The airboat is required to be 15 feet long with an 8-foot beam, constructed with 5086 marine grade aluminum alloy, and fully compliant with federal and marine safety regulations. It must be suitable for year-round operation in lakes, rivers, swamps, bays, and mudflats. Key requirements include a V-crimped hull, grass rake, stainless steel seating and propeller guard, PCM 7.4 LSX motor, 82-inch 3-blade carbon fiber propeller, and a Century Drive Systems CH 3 to 2.3 to 1 belt drive. The airboat must be delivered with a comprehensive owner's manual, standard manufacturer's warranty, and a galvanized airboat trailer.
The document does not provide any details on pricing terms, set asides, incumbents, funding requirements and sources, or other salient commercial information. It appears to be focused solely on the technical specifications and requirements for the airboat and associated trailer.
